Motivation letter

The letter of intent is read carefully: why Türkiye, why this field, how you will serve your community after graduating.

For master's/PhD add a one-page research proposal: title, question, method.

Respect the word limits in the form; do not paste long texts.

Common mistakes

  • Ranking 12 programmes without a mix of strong and realistic choices.
  • Uploading unreadable documents or ones not translated into Turkish/English.
  • Underestimating the interview; it decides master's and PhD outcomes.
  • Generic goals that never mention Turkish universities.

Tips from winners

  • Learn the departments and professors at the universities you choose and name them.
  • Prepare short interview answers on your research project and post-graduation plan.
  • Volunteering and certificates count; document them.
