The African Union International Centre for Girls' and Women's Education in Africa (AU CIEFFA), in partnership with ImpactHER, is organizing the African Union CIEFFA Online Capacity Building Training 2026 under the theme "#AfricaEducatesHer – Digital Skills for All: Bridging the Gender Gap in STEAM, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship." The program is designed for women and men from African Union Member States and the African Diaspora who wish to strengthen their knowledge and skills in gender equality in and through education, STEAM, digital literacy, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. To date, the initiative has certified more than 13,995 young people across 55 African countries and 34 non-African countries.

  • Fully online training program.
  • Training starts from 31 August 2026.
  • Each training cohort lasts 1 month.
  • Selected participants will be divided into different batches.
  • Training languages: English, French, and Portuguese.
  • Organized by African Union CIEFFA in partnership with ImpactHER.
  • Applications are submitted through an online application form.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Be an African woman or man.
  • Hold citizenship of an African country.
  • Be residing in Africa or anywhere else in the world.
  • Demonstrate motivation to learn digital skills, entrepreneurial skills, and financial literacy.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and commitment to promoting girls' and women's education.
  • Have access to a reliable internet connection.
  • Have access to a laptop, computer, smartphone, or tablet.
  • Have a good command of English, French, or Portuguese.
