The SENSE Foundation in Brussels provides financial support for projects and initiatives implemented by non-profit organizations or educational and research institutions, both within Belgium and internationally. The grant focuses on supporting projects aimed at promoting scientific research, environmental protection, sustainable development, and health improvement, with a special emphasis on genetics and nutrition. The foundation also supports students and researchers who lack sufficient funding, as well as certain temporary charitable initiatives. Eligibility Criteria
  • The applying organization must be legally registered as a non-profit organization for at least two years

  • Organizations registered after January 1, 2024, are not eligible
  • Project duration must be between 9 and 12 months
  • The project must align with the foundation’s objectives
  • A clear description of needs, impact, and use of funds must be provided
  • Only one application per organization per calendar year is allowed
  • Overhead costs must not exceed 20%
  • Compliance with required impact reporting for any previous projects (if applicable)
  • The project must not be affiliated with any political, religious, or ideological organization or agenda
